Another Birthday Cake!

I made this cake for the brother of the little girl who got the Barbie cake.  This cake was make for his birthday in June 2009.  He turned 6.  He wanted a race track cake so that is what he got.

The sides were made out of fondant squares to look like the checkered flags....I really know nothing about racing.  If you look close you can see that the track is elevated.  I made a round cake and sliced it diagonally in half and put them side by side to give it a little depth.
